Taj Deccan is a business hotel situated in Hyderabad and is a part of the Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and is situated on most talked about place in the city i.e Banjara Hills. The hotel is spread over six acres of landscaped gardens. Transportation
Taj Deccan is at a distance of few kilometers and it takes a 10 minutes drive from the city's business and shopping centers. It is located 30 kms from the Rajiv Gandhi International airport, 12 kms from the Secunderabad Railway station and 6 kms from the Nampally railway station. The hotel arranges pick up and drop facility and also airport transfers. A/C cars are available at the airport awaiting your welcome on demand. The The hotel is also ideal for shopping. The hotel arranges cabs for local travel in the city.
Accommodation
All the rooms in this hotel are air conditioned and are available in single and double bed room types. There are different categories of rooms for the customers based on their choices and offers different facilities. There are some Superior Rooms, Residency rooms, and suites.
All rooms are beautifully decorated and well furnished with amenities like cable TV, 24 hours hot and cold running water, safety deposit, Internet and Telephone. Average price per day is Rs 6500. The rates vary as per the accommodation type. All the rooms offer excellent amenities and stylish comfort.
Price
1. Superior Rooms: There are 34 Superior Rooms which offer city from the balcony. The rooms are well equipped with amenities like wireless Internet connectivity, flat screen TVs, two-line speaker phone with international direct dial, safe deposit lockers (for laptops as well), and DVD players (on request). The average rate of the room on a twin basis is Rs 11000.
2. Residency Rooms: There are 32 Residency Rooms which offer city views. The rooms are well equipped to cater to the needs of business and leisure travellers. In addition to the above guest amenities, they offer the guests with complimentary breakfast, tea/coffee throughout the day, cocktail hour in the evening in the Residency Lounge, the guests can use the services of the Lounge Boardroom. The average room rate on a twin sharing basis is Rs 11500.
3. Suites: There are 10 Suite which are categorized into Junior Suite King, Deluxe Suite King and Presidential suite. They are tastefully furnished suites composed of a bedroom and a sitting room along with all the above guest amenities. The average room rate is Rs 14500 for Junior, Rs. 20000 for Deluxe Suite and Rs 40000 for Presidential Suite.
The rates mentioned are revised from 01 October 2009 to 31 August 2010.
There is no cancellation charges before 2 days from the date of checking in till 6 pm only after which cancellation charges are applicable along with 5% of service charge.
Dining
The hotel has a three restaurant. The restaurants are Arena- All Day Dining,Spice Junxion offers south Indian dishes while Atrium Bar offers different kinds of wine and drinks.The whole area is brightly illuminated and the staff is very professional. the dress code into all these are causal attire.

Arena- All Day Dining: This international eatery serves a fine selection of dishes from across the world including Mughali, Contenential, oriental, European, Chinese and Punjabi and is the ideal setting for a quick breakfast, chic business lunch or an intimate evening meal.
Spice Junxion: This is the newly launched restaurant and is stylish & contemporary in style. It is a confluence where the cuisines from Andhra, Telangana, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Hyderabad meet. All the best receips from south India are served ranging from Masala Dosa to Parota to garalu and gongura pachadi. This restaurant adapts to a contemporary and light menu.
Atrium Bar: This is a place for a guest to refresh and unwind in comfort and in style being served with international range of wines, sprits and cigars of ones choice while being serenaded by a selection of Rock, Pop and Chinese melodies.
Conference halls
The hotel offers a convenient setting for small meetings of 9 to larger gatherings of 400 for corporate meetings and parties. These halls are equipped with Wireless Internet access, secretarial services, and business workstations are readily accessible for conducting business.
The lush lawns that surround the hotel are an inviting venue for cocktails and receptions for up to 1,500 where private parties, functions or anniversary parties etc can be conducted in open air. They have their own professional event planners for any kind of event.
