This college was in Hyderabad for more than three decades of time.The Government has taken the duty to establish the Institute of Medical Sciences on 11.03.1980 as an autonomous body registered under A.P. Public Societies Registration Act. At those days this college was inaugurated by Dr.M.Chenna Reddy, Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on 17.03.1980.
Now at present this medical college became one of the famous universities in Andhra Pradesh named as University of Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences.There are many departments in the college with all the facilities avaiable. They are updating the college with more modern medical equipments and training the students in a right way inorder to achieve success.
