Alankar is one of the best theater in the city.It is also one of the oldest theater in the city.This is an Air conditioned theater.There are many good facilities in this theater.In a massive attack and strike this theater was burned completely.then it was modified and remodeled.
Location :
It is located ideally in the Gandhi nagar area.This area is pretty famous for it`s long standing and best theaters of the city.You can reach this place very easily from any corner of the city.
Ticket Prices :
Balcony - Rs.50
1st class - Rs.35
2nd class - Rs.20
3rd class - Rs.15
Very reasonable prices available for all kinds of people in the city.
Show Timings :
Noon Show - 11:30 AM
Matniee - 2:30 PM
1st Show - 6:00 PM
2nd Show - 9:15 PM
These show timings are just regular timings and may vary according to requirement.
Parking :
parking is very convenient in this place and one of the best in the city.An underground parking is provided and very vast space is available.A vehicle can be easily parked and it is safe to park here.
Canteen :
While coming to canteen,Alankar has two different canteens.One is A.C. Canteen and the other is Non-A.C. Canteen.In A.C. canteen you can get many frozen products such as Ice creams,Soft drinks.In Non Ac Canteen Other items such as Samosa,tea,coffee and other bakery items are provided.Sanitation is also pretty good while compared to other theaters.
Other Shops in Complex :
Besides theater, Alankar has a shopping complex facility.Many shops of various kinds are present in this complex.Most of them are Textile shops.
Alankar Bakery is present in the Ground floor and nit is not connected to the theater.You may visit this place with out going to theater.Many varieties of bakery items are available in vegetarian and Non- vegetarian kinds.Alankar Bread is pretty famous in and around Vijayawada city.
