Posted Date: 22 Jun 2010      Posted By:: Subba Raju     Member Level: Gold    Member Rank: 12     Points: 1   Responses: 3

Yesterday at around 3.30 p.m. a D.C.M. was coming from Warangal highway towards secunderabad and after coming to Uppal X road, the driver in druken stage has made a big accident.

KV - 1 Uppal children are coming out from school to cross the road, cute and innocent children did not that that is the last minute in their life.

Driver of D.C.M. in a drunken stage driving the vehicle and hit the people who are crossing the road.

Baby Sri Nitya was dead on the spot. While her sister Sri Megha was escaped with few injuries. In the same accident one mother with her two kids, and another child from her neighbourhood who came with her to pick up the children were also met with the same accident. Out of them one girl died in the night. Mother and one little are girl are serious. They were all admitted into Kamineni Hospitals.

This is really a bad event, which made everybody in the nearby to weap. Because of one persons mistake three families have put to loss.

This is all because of the negligance of following the traffic signals, traffic rules. Nobody will follow the rules, because there is no severe punishment.

In your view who are all responsible for this accident.

Two school students died and two others suffered injuries after a rogue DCM van jumped the signal and hit them while they were crossing the road near Uppal crossroads on Monday evening. Angry locals set the DCM ablaze, but police intervened and doused the fire.

The incident took place after school hours, when some students of Kendriya Vidyalaya-II, Uppal, located near Uppal crossroads set off for home on foot.

The next day ABVP called for a bandh and all schools were closed yesterday.

    Hello Raju!

I am really afraid to post this response as I presume this may be deleted as pulling up of old forum threads. Nevertheless, I could not resist my pain as I came across this forum post while browsing through the old forum posts just for the sake of reading them casually. This is really a sorrowful event. May the dead soul rest in peace in the heaven.

    Regards,

    Kumaraditya Sarkar.

    Hi friends,

In these incidents I feel really recklessness is involved. Nobody would like to follow rules. Everyone will think what happends if I do like this. I feel Government should punish the people responsible for road accidents. No mercy should be given.
