I think he his planning to start a new party and looking forward to see how many are going to support him. The recent so called "Odarupu Yatra" is also to see what sort of support he has in public mainly among the poor people.

Jagan is going on defying high command and adamant in undertaking Odarpu Yatra and it was very succesful.
Where ever he gone and enroute people welcomed with overwhelmingly.
But if he is inviting wrath of Sonia and going ahead his future will be bleak. He cannot ignore Congress and go aloof.

Hi,
This "Yatra" is simply a Buckwas, only showing the political power to the Center. He wanted to become Chief Minister, he thought Center will make him as a normal action, but Sonia thought in different way. He was upset so he wanted to gain the support from the public and other co leaders at the same time he wanted to show his power to the Center.
In my opinion he is going to loose his political career soon.

Everyone knows his motive.
In the garb of yatra, he mobilising and taking estimates of how people can come with him.
He is gauging peoples and MLA's responses.
He is eliciting views on new party possiblities too.
