I think the demands of the Telangana students not justifiable.
The two major demands of Telangana regarding Group 1 examinations :
1) The chaiman Y Venkatarami Reddy should be suspended for being partial over Seemandhra students.
2) A 42% reservation for Telangana in the Group 1 exams.
The point here is the telangana people have no proof that Venkatarami Reddy is anyway partial. They brought this up totally on the basis that always seemandhra students excel in the exams. What they dont understand is that it is because of talent of Seemandra students.
Regional reservation only degrades the education system. Nearly 30% students qualifying IIT are from Andhra. If other states complain like telangana people Andhra Pradesh should get only about 5% of the IIT seats. But they don't do that. No one does that every one respects talent and hard work.
If telangana really wants more share, the tip is simple : Study hard and earn your share instead of begging for it.

Nayan thanks for posting this thread.
What has happened at OU campus today is a shame. Students are being instigated by OUJAC for taking the law into their hands. The visit of MLA's and leaders lead to provocation and eventually the stundents forcibly entered the exam centre and tore of the OMR sheets.
