Respect for Suicides in Andhra Pradesh

Dying in a war or a struggle is said to be "Veera maranam" and every one respects people who gave their life in style.

Whereas suicides are legally wrong and it is a very coward way to give off your life.

Although suicides are illegal Andhra Pradesh government tends to give respect to them. Starting with Jagan's Odarpu yatra where sonia gandhi has accepted to give every family who have lost one of their family members for Rajashekar Reddy 1lakh rupees, both by natural deaths and suicides. And now the government has given permission to give 1 lakh rupees for every family whose family member had committed suicide for Telangana.

After all this now every alternate day we see someone of the other climbing telephone poles and demanding for something or the other.

What is your opinion on this?

Hi,

In my opinion paying money to the family of the person committed suicided is completely wrong. That means indirectly we are supporting the suicides. If a family is very poor and are need of money then, a member of that family may prefer to commit suicide just for sake of money.

What Subba raju sir said is absolutely right. Even I support him. Killing their own lifes is not a solution to all the problems. They must try to find the solution to solve the problem.

People who are committing the suicides for the sake of politicans or love or other aspects is really ridiculous. Before committing suicide they are not even thinking about their families or responsibilities. If they think so, they will not commit suicides.
