There is nothing wrong in establishing big images. I live in Gajuwaka and saw the Durga idol. It is just the matter of maintaining the conditions. The bigger the idol the better should be the maintainance.
There is another specialty with this idol. There are dasavatara idols of YS Rajashekar Reddy put along with the idol. YSR is posed in 10 different emotions in the 10 different idols. Although none of the idols really resemble YSR but the attempt is appreciable.

Thanks Maheedhar for throwing more details on the post and responding to it positively. Politicians are here to take mileage outof any thing for their own need. Dashera has come handy to depict the late leader in different forms and they failed to the core. As you said the organisers must take extra precaution to safeguard as the idols are always vulnerable to fire.
