I am sorry I dont know the norms of GHMC, so I cannot comment whether this is right or wrong. But I appreciate the fact that you are taking interest in bringing out some key issues. It would be good if you could state the the norm of GHMC that the bridge is violating so that everyone can have a better understanding.

I completely agree with Maheedhar. But normally if we see that photo it looks like there is some possible threat to the commuters on road. I hope the hotel management could have thought of commuters safety while laying that FOB.
I appreciate Mohan for his efforts to bring up issues like this along with the photograph.

Maheedhar and Srinivas thanks for responding to this thread with a great concern. There are so many irregularities in this issue.
1. Except govt, private owners are prohibited to construct any structure on the road. But this is constructed across the road.
2. Bridges must have to follow certain height norms. This road is used by lorries during nights with heavy loads of goods. If a big lorry with materials more than the height then the bridge will be collapsed.
3. Its always risk for the passerby to go beneath it since the length is not supported properly in the middle.
