I did hear that the Real Estate in Hyderabad had dropped after the Telangana issue came in. I don't know when exactly the Real Estate in Hyderabad hiked again. But i can definitely say that the initial hike in the Real Estate was due to the IT development in Hyderabad.

For the past three years Real Estate in Hyderabad has gone from bad to worse. By the time it was picking up, YSR died. And Telangana issue taken centre stage. Now Jagan resignation and uneasy AP with unsatisfied Ministers yet to settle in seat, the Real Estate business is in the doll drums.

It is indeed the demand from people which made Realtors to inflate the price in and around hyderabad.
I think that politics has nothing to do with Realestate, it is all about economic situation that decides the price. Economic slowdown in 2008 has majorly effected the prices in Real estate.
