4th december every year is celebrated as navy day in our country.
It is celebrated in recognition of our navy's victory on karachi,major pakistani
harbour.
India is able to succeed to block the port of karachi in liberation of east pakistan(Bangladesh)1971.
Our vishakapatnam major naval base of eastern naval fleet was able to resist pakistani attack and fired missile shower on PNS GHAZI a pakistani submarine with the help of INS RAJPUT.
INS VIRAAT only air craft carrier from vishakapatnam also succefully blocked bay of bengal resulting in our country's pride.
Sea Harriers succesfully shot down pakistanis F-82 SABRE's resulting a big blow to pakistan air force / navy.
Hats off to vishakapatanam on behalf of INDIA.
Navy day was celebrated grandly in our shore.
Navy showed its amazing stunts with marine commandoes,sky diving team in our harbour.
Bombings,missiles,torpedoes,missile boats,helicopters,tanks,destroyers and many of navy's pride are displayed.

Yes Navy day is celebrated on every 4th of Dec for having achieved victory over Karachi in Pakistan. The Naval excercise that is shown during this event was awesome and spell bound. Navy always excels when it comes to guard our coasts. Bravo.
