Hyderabad alone can not generate income sufficient to Andhra pradesh, Income from all other districts will also contribute a lot.
I would say yes for the above question because, if we see the wealth accumulation for Jalayagnam scheme it clearly shows that major revenue has come from land deals done on name of SEZ's Industries and various other projects in and around hyderabad.

Actually it is because of the popularity of hyderabad that we are misguided that it is generating income sufficient enough for andhra may be because of the IT companies, infrastructure,retail and marketing, real estate etc.
Infact much of the wealth of andhra pradesh comes from agriculture till today despite the bitter facts of poor condition of farmers in our state. Example in godavari districts
Unfortunately People are not realizing the value of other income sources such as agriculture, tourism, textiles and small scale industries, jewellery etc that can be a major contributing factor to our state.
Just imagine if hyderabad only can generate enough income for ap then imagine the power of other 23 districts???

very well said Harika, I appreciate for the comments you posted, there are many sources in Andhra Pradesh to look for in getting revenue generated, many people from all parts of the state have the feeling of "Hyderabad is generating more income than any other districts" if people in AP concentrate more on other fields then their will be less fight in Telangana issue too
My intention here is not to divert the topic to telangana issue here, mentioned just to open the eyes of people who believe that hyderabad is the most earning place in AP.

Hyderabad being the capital city do contribute considerably the treasury and its the known fact. Most of companies, Industries and traders and business houses are located here and that will generate more revenues for the state. Agriculture income may be less but other income is more from this city. Even income tax collected from the city is also very high.
