Hi everyone,
I am writing about my views ,
I think the well experienced the then Home minister K.Rosaiah is very much capable of the CM post . Jagan has got very much craze in public but he cannot maintain it as he is inexperienced and the opposition will take it as an advantage .
The existing ministers are opposing Rosaiah because he is not a kind of man who swallows everything(not ideally) so the ministers cant make their black money to large extent .
Surely the opposition has the major advantage regarding this issue .
So in my opinion Rosaiah must continue as CM

Chief Minister of Andhra pradesh is the present burning issue of the state.
In my view Mr.K.Rosaiah is capable of holding CM post of Andhra.He is well experienced in politics and also throned many ministry posts in his life time.He worked as financial and other crucial ministry posts under many CMs.So,his experience surely counts and he is capable of being CM.
But while coming to ministers and MLAs who are opposing him, they too have a point to raise.No doubt Rosaiah is the best while coming to administration then what about charisma and crowd pulling aspect which is very important for a political party?
Dr.Ysr is a heavy crowd puller and due to his charm congress got elected twice.Y.s.jagan will also have the same strength as he is the heir.But what about Mr.Rosaiah? He is not even an MLA but elected from council.How can you expect him to pull heavy crowds and votes to the coming elections for the party!?
So, there are pros and cons in the same issue.Y.S.Jagan is inexperienced but crowd puller where as rosaiah experienced.

Hi,
I this issue has already been resolved by High command. However, the trails were still going on by Jagan Team.
As far as I know Roasaiah will continue to be CM for the next 4 years. In my view, it is not important who is going to make crowd, the person who is efficient is important to run the govt.
There were rumours that Sonia already confirmed to KVP that already many of the ministers have got enought Black money during YSR Rule and now if Jagan comes, the state would ruin. So, she is not going to give a chance to Jagan. There were also rumours that Jagan could buy all the Bangalore with his entire property. How would he get such money unless he gets bribed.

Hi
This is a very good discussion because this is a burning topic in the state and i have been following this event since the beginning. There are different factors involved in selecting the CM for the state by the congress high command and it is a very difficult and crucial task.
Based on this decision the future of the congress in the state depends and also the future of the members of congress party. The congress high command is taking a lot of time to come out with a conses which can be accepted by all in the congress and also that the public will welcome and that it may come to power in the next elections.
To discuss there are lot of issues to be mentioned but to adhere to Group discussion i will only discuss about the points mentioned in the GD and will give my views point wise to make it very clear.
1. Is the current CM Rosaiah is capable of holding that post?
This question is easy as well as difficult to answer. reason being that Rosaiah being a senior member of the party and also has held different roles in the past governments and recently was the finance and Assembly affairs minister knew very well about the functioning of the government and has handled them very well. seeing this one can say that he can handle the current responsibility very well.
But when we look up this responsibility as a CM taking care of the entire government machinery and also the cabinet he has a lot of pressure form within the cabinet and the party. He is facing a lot of opposition form the cabinet and the party and mostly from the younger generation and the YSR Loyalists. Mostly in the cabinet we see ministers loyal to YSR and his family. This can also destabilize his hold.

But overall if he faces the support of the Party high command then he can hold to his post and can set the matters of the party as the time passes by. One should not ignore that there is a strict opposition form the party and the people. He has to handle it in a wise way.
2. Why the ministers are forcing the centre to make Jagan as CM?
When we look at the ministers and their history most of them are loyalist of the YSR family and in fact most of them have become ministers because of the blessings of Late YSR or of his son Mr. Jagan and they very well knew that if Jagan becomes CM then their positions as ministers and also as MLA will be strengthened. Since most of them came out publicly they knew that if things do not turn their way their future is in dark.
Currently there are two camps in the state congress one is of the supporters of Jagan and the other is of the senior congress members. They are neither showing their support to jagan or to Rosaiah. Most of the senior leaders who have either lost their seats or not given any position in the party or the cabinet are against Mr. Jagan and also not in favour of Rosaiah but in order to get some hold they are coming out in public and supporting Mr. rosaiah so that they can find some favor from him when every thing settles and if he retains the CM post.
For example we can see Mr. JC Diwakar Reddy who could not be accommodated in the cabinet by YSR has come out against Jagan and is singing the tunes of other seniors and saying that Jangan cannot become CM so that he can gain entry in the rosiah camp.
When we look at Mrs Konda Surekha the child and women development minister came out in press saying that it is because of YSR that their family is now doing well and also their political career is on peak so they wanted Mr. jagan to be the CM.
Over all we see that both the camps want either of them to be CM for their personnel gains. coming back to the point in discussion we see that majority of MLAs and MPs and also the ministers are form the YSR camp and they want Jagan to be the CM so that their interests are protected and can enjoy the privileges and comforts they are enjoying now qnd this is the reason that they are pressurizing the center to have Jagan as CM and no other reason at all. only for personal gain and motives and not looking at the state and are misleading the public.
3. Is the inexperienced Jagan can hold his seat if he were appointed as CM?
When we look at Jagan as an individual we cannot say that he is inexperienced and also cannot say that he has enough experience but when we look at how he is trained and how he is launched into politics gives us a clear idea that he was targeting the highest post in the state.
When we look at his life he is successful business man and has business across many fields and recently launched Print media business and a TV channel. He has various business interests and also in politics he was made the youth congress leader by his father and has extensively toured the state and has gathered strong support form the party carder and also from the MLAs and MPs.
He started different social service programs and has also developed his constituency and in a short time became a famous personality and also an icon in the state congress. where ever he went there were masses following him and with this kind of support and following he was launched into active politics as an MP from Kadapa his home town and has won in a majestic way and from then there was no looking back and what ever he said that is the final in the state congress.
Now looking at the current scenario we see him when ever he is in Hyderabad he is always busy meeting leaders, party members, ministers, general public. he actually has become a de facto CM and this is causing insecurity for the seniors and a big trouble for the party high command.
The way Jagan sees at things and his moves it is very clear that if he want to maintain his charm and power he has to become CM and gradually he started eying the CM post and has spoken indirectly many times saying that Party President Mrs. Sonia Gandhi know the pulse of the people and party and will take a decision in a democratic way other wise people will get angry and congress might lose its hold in the state.
There is a lot of support for him from the party in the state and can lead the state as a CM but would wait and see whether he will actually follow his father or not and will progress the state or not.
4.Are the opposition parties taking it as an advantage?
Truly speaking at least for another few years congress will be in power and there is nothing advantage for the opposition parties to celebrate. They might make things complex but nothing to the congress because they are the single largest party and by no means congress high command will see that the party is dividing. they want to be in power and they will do anything to save the party. they are only taking time to settle things and the people are also not fools to see that government changes.
5)Did the presence of Rosaiah will reduce the black money with the ministers?
When we look at Rosaiah his family is in no way involved in politics and has no heir for him to succeed in politics and has seen that his family is away from politics. He has seen enough and there is no need for him to really make black money because their children are totally away from the game and they have their own interests and for Rosaiah he is enjoying all the comforts a person can have.
But it is not the same for all others in the party and we have many corrupt people in general. Mr. Rosaiah is a very straight forward man and at least now wants to save his position and will do al the things which please the masses and the congress high command. we have seen that in action by the transfers in the state and want people who cna do things properly and have come heavily on the ministers for the work they are doing. It will be difficult for those who want to earn black money but there are always loop holes.
I don't think that corruption will reduce in a big way. how can we turn the black color to white overnight. It will take time but surely he will make some reforms.

I want to just update about the latest happenings in the state politics since this also falls under the GD we are discussing.
One of the senior Advocate of the AP High Court has came out in press challenging Mr. Rosaiah to prove his majority saying that in the press and in public it seems that Mr. Jagan is enjoying the support of more than 152 MLAs and while Rosaiah did not seems to enjoy it and has filed a case in the AP high court.
This is a clear indication that Mr. Jagan want to become the CM and also since this is in the court the court has directed it to the governor who will at some point of time will raise up the matter.
While the supporters of jagan are awaiting to see that he reaches Delhi and talks with Sonia Gandhi here in the state Mr Mouli the state incharge has met Jagan and also issued a warning to all the party carder saying that those speaking against the present CM will be taken to task and one MLA was heard saying that the current CM can hold the post till the next elections 2014.
Lets watch and wait to see what happens since every day this issue is taking a new turn.

Hi
It is very interesting to follow the updates in the state regarding the selection of Chief Minister and how the Jagan Camp is making its moves. It is eagerly watched by the senior leaders who are in favor of The present CM and also by the Jagan Camp on the visit of Mr Roiasiah to delhi. This calling from the high command was eagerly awaited since the time he became CM.
And now since the elections in the three states have been over and congress getting a hold over these states now every eye is focused on the state and the pressure is being mounted on Delhi and also the Jagan camp is trying its best to make use of the opportunity.
Time will decide and this is a very critical stage and nothing can be fore told about the moves by the high command.

Hello friends,
To continue my post.Jagan has very less scope to become Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.As high command has a feeling that Jagan may lobby and take over the state congress and may even set up a new party on his own, which in turn is a big loss for Congress High Command.
More over, Jagan's team of M.L.A s committing wrong steps and making their own deadlock.Minister Konda Surekha`s resignation was accepted by Cheif minister Rosaiah in minutes and this was a Shock to the Jagan Team.They don`t dare to do the same thing again as there is no effect.
Jagan as he is inexperienced must prove himself and pave a way for his chief minister throne.He must follow his father and proceed in that way.
