We are changing the member level system to make it at par with IndiaStudyChannel. Previously, all other sites had lower criteria than ISC for each member level which we are discontinuing from today. The new member level chart is -
Platinum Level: 25,000 total points and 10,000 points in last 1 year.
Diamond Level: 5,000 total points and 2,500 points in last 1 year.
Gold Level: 500 total points
Silver Level: 100 total points
The required points for Diamond level was higher in ISC and lower in some
other sites. Effective today, all sites have same levels.

Since this new member levels are little harsh no member has responded to this post. You know well that the membership level is very low here and such harsh membership levels will boomerang on the performance of members. I dont know what has prompted the webmaster to effect changes of these kind here.

This is very bad news for new users.
Instead of decreasing, you increased the points for member levels.
Please take proper action against this and try to help us.

Membership Levels
Membership levels are calculated based on the total points earned from all sections. In case of Bronze and Silver level members, the total points and membership levels are automatically recalculated when they login to this site first time each day. In case of members in higher levels, points and levels are not automatically recalculated in order to preserve server resources. They should recalculate their points and level from their Account Management page when they need.

Bronze: upto 100 Points
Silver: 101 to 500 Points
Gold: 501 to 5000 Points
Diamond: 5001 to 25000 Points AND 2,500 points earned in last 12 months
Platinum: Above 25000 Points AND 10,000 points earned in last 12 months
If a platinum member earns between 2500 and 10,000 points in last 12 months, member level will be changed to Diamond Level. If the points earned in last 12 months is less than 2500, then the member level will be changed to GOLD level.
If the points earned by a Diamond Level member in last 12 months is less than 2500, the member level will be changed to GOLD level.
The referral bonus earned by the referrer will not be cancelled, even if the Platinum or Diamond level member loses the level.

It will be better to decrease points for all Member levels so that all user.By changing member level points Many of the members disappointed.Plaese take Members response about this.
