    Hello Andhra Spider Members,

Here is a great topic to discuss and also very Hot topic.

American first citizen and President Mr. Barack Obama is no doubt a great politician and human.

But Is it justifying to announce a world reputed Nobel Peace price just for his manifesto (As they are not yet implemented completely).Even his role model Mahatma Gandhi not yet received one.

So, Guyz n Gals discuss on this topic.

    Hi Krish,
To me it is not justifying to announce nobel peace prize for Barak Obama. He has not scored enough with his foreign policy in his tenure as a president. He has not implemented his policies that are promised before he came to power. His policies are just vague statements which he cannot implement thoroughly when he is in power. His support in the nation also decreased which can be observed by the local surveys which is just because he is not that efficient in the implementation of his policies. These are my views people who just negotiate me can post their views

    Hi all

This is a very interesting topic to discuss.

Mr Barack Obama the President of United States was unknown till he started his campaign and he attracted the masses with his speeches and also mission to bring a change in the US and also in all the policies which were implemented by the previous governments.

Let me put down few reasons why he became the president.

    1. The Bush administration in spite of being in power for 2 terms did not earn the favour of the masses. the policies which were taken and specially the ones taken against Iraq and the middle east and other European countries and also the way polices were implemented within the country was not favored.

    2. The reinforcement of forces in the Middle east countries and specially Iraq and Afghanistan were not appreciated by the people and the Opposition and many other countries. Even the forces were not ready or willing to be deployed in those countries where there is no value for life.

    3. The foreign relations were also an issue with the previous government and also Mr. Bush did not actively involve in the campaigning of its candidates. The anti incumbency issue was also a problem for them.

Looking at the above issues which were very few it was very likely that Mr Obama and Joe party would win the campaign. Also the teams at the back end of Mr Obama were very well educated and were experienced people and the strategies were planned very well.

Mr Obama started his campaign by introducing the masses with the Change Movement. And this was liked by one and all and in every meeting there were women and younger generation involved in the meetings and supporting him. He brought all the issues which are eating up the country and focussing them very large.

He made many promises like calling back the forces which are deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan and high lighted the outsourcing issue and made many tax sops to those who do not outsource and created and eagerness for creating jobs in the country and many youth were interested to support him.

The reforms announced by him for the financial situation of the country and also the way the razor was held on the corporates and their perks and many more made him very popular and gave him the way to become President.

After becoming president since the country was in recession period he started giving packages to different industries and also raising his wrath against some industries to cut short the expenses and introducing tax sops for companies not outsourcing and many others won him many accolades.

When it comes to foreign policy he started pulling back some forces and visited some of the locations abroad and started reaching out friendship hand with many countries and the most important thing he did was a tour of the middle east countries and delivering a lecture for university students at cario and created an image that America is for the development of the world.

This attracted the attention of the world and every one started seeing him as a peace maker and who does not want to be in the limelight and when it comes to Giving him the Nobel Peace price i do not think it was a right decision to give to him since very little was done and also every one wants the blessings of Mr Obama i think that the nobel committee too wanted it.

Why did they give him is a different question but to me i do not think he has done enough being in that capacity to receive a prize of that caliber.
