Many problems in Hyderabad are due to same reason. The city was not planned before it was built. Buildings were built and later roads and drainages were built. So naturally road system was not planned properly. For instance take the example of outer ring road . It was planned well and there is no chance of traffic jam. Even if you want to take a u turn , you have a separate path in the path of semi circle where there is no need for us to take a back turn. The industries should be shifted away from living areas so that we can become pollution free and traffic free. Most of the traffic is due to heavy industrial vehicles only. And also the intensity increases when there is a rain as there are no proper drain systems, traffic increases. Everyone knows traffic rules but many will violate them. I think this only a problem for traffic in limited cases whera accident or quarrel happens. Regards Venkata Sai Ram T.

Since, Hyderabad is a city of busy officials. In Hyderabad, so many institutions and factories were established where number of employees do their duties to live. There are number of opportunities in Hyderabad to get better earning. Population of Hyderabad is more comparing with other cities in Andhra Pradesh. Whenever population is increased then automatically traffic jam is certainly big problem.

Hyderabad is not having good bypass roads for that main city roads.
For example Koti to Kukatpally we just one major road, so all people joins there like rivers joins ocean. If another alternative available traffic will be spitted so that less congestion. Poor public transportation also leads to more vehicles...A bus occupied 60% of road will be used by 70-80 people but a car which occupies 40% of road will be use full for 2 or 3 people. I feel we should have a bus stop for every 1 km so that more people like to travel by buses. Even RTC need to find new routes and should increases the number of buses in busy routes.

Some problems may have many reaons. The daily traffic jams in Hyderabad also falls under this case. This problem too has many grounds.
One of the reason is the bad condition of roads where as the other one is the lack of awareness of the citizens. The increasing population was another major reason.According to the statistics given by some organisation daily on an average nearly 10,000 new vehicles are entering on the road.It is also very difficult for the traffic polices to control such heavy traffic.
In rainy season this problem is very high.Even 3-4cms rain in the city causes traffic jams in all the major floating areas of the city. The roads in some places of the city are worst and it had been responsible for the jams.
The main solution of this problem is to improve the condition of the city roads.More fly-overs are to be constructed in order to stop the inconvenience of the people. The proper drainage system also helps in controlling the traffic jams in the city.
