No. splitting Andhra pradesh state is not at all a good decision taken by the government. In the year 1972, Jai Andhra itself indicates that they are unable to split the Andhra Pradesh.Because of KCR fight for Telangana, at present a number of colleges are being closed because of bandhs. There is a great loss to the Government.More than Rs. 3 crores,APSRTC got loss because of not running the buses.
Here I am posting points about the group discussion topic splitting of andhra pradesh. http://www.andhraspider.com/resources/2140-Say-Yes-Samaikhya-Andhra.aspx please see my points that are present in this link when 0.

Hi I really do not fully agree in splitting the state but due importance should be given to all regions and development activities to be carried out in all places. since we speak the same language and if we are splitted then it like dividing a family. there will be problems but we need to sort them out.
This is all politically motivated and it is for some of their benefit and self interest only.

Congress is taking everybody for the ride.
I dont think splitting of AP can happen in near future.
By just announcing the process for making seperate Telangana does not mean it has been achieved.
There is much difference between words and deeds.
Congress always lacked in deeds.
But will wait for their action further in the matter.
Anyway they have taken away our peacful life either to we were living.
May god give them good sense.

I do agree with what you are saying if you see the present situations prevailing in the state of Andhra Pradesh, we can blindly say that it is unnecessary fight for a separate state of Telangana. The reason behind the thought of division is just a drama played by the local political leaders of the Telangana. I do agree that telanagana is a back ward area and many people are unable to pursue a job in many government sectors due to their backwardness. But I think it is not the correct way of solving that problem. In my view by assigning a little reservation to the jobs may affix the problem. I do agree that the resistance to the Pro-telangana is very bad as the leaders who are fighting for samakya andhra had just done it for their political benefits. But the only person who got severely effected is a common people. Due to these strikes and violence the prices got hiked and there is a chance of even more hiking of prices. Another sector of people who were even adversely affected are the students. Students cannot judge what is correct and what is wrong and the political deeds of the leaders. If we consider students of Whole andhra pradesh nearly 20-25 thousand students were either jailed or injured or died. This the main sector which was severely affected. The main reason behind the happening of this whole havoc is lack in efficiency of the government. Hope this fight will subsides and the people will again step in to their path of sucess

Hi friends,
I feel the decision is not correct. Splitting anything is very easy. But as we all know unity is strength of success in any field. We can be successful when we work hard and in unity. If andhra pradesh is aplitted into different states, then there are many chances of shifting of many big industries to other parts of the country. As we are seeing in newspapers already so many projects are going to other states. If this continues what will be the future of the state.
