Exam Details - Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) - For MBA and MCA
Integrated Common Entrance Test commonly known as ICET. It is conducted every year by one of the universities in Andhra Pradesh on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education(APSCHE). Eligibility Criteria of ICET - Things you should Possess • The candidate must have cleared any of the Bachelor Degrees (minimum of three year duration)(BOL and BFA degrees are not allowed) from any of the Universities of Andhra Pradesh or equivalent. • Candidates appearing their final year exams of the Bachelor Degree (minimum of three year duration) may also attempt the exam, but their candidature is valid only if they pass the respective exam. • Candidates should be Indian Nationals according to the guidelines of Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions. • Candidates should have Mathematics as one of the subjects in tenth for admission into MBA. They should have Mathematics as one of their subjects in Intermediate(or equivalent) or in Degree course.
Syllabus of ICET - Type of Questions to be expected The ICET paper consists of three sections : • Analytical Ability – For this section, the candidate need to cover topics like Data Sufficiency, Sequences and Series, Date and Time, Coding and Decoding and Data Analysis. • Mathematical Ability – In this the candidate needs to refer through topics like Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry and Statistics. • Communicational Ability - for this section the candidate has to go through Vocabulary, Comprehensions, Grammar and Business Computation. Examination Pattern of ICET The ICET Exam Duration is 150minutes or 2 ½ hours. ICET paper consists of 200 questions. The paper is split-up into three sections : 1) Section A: Analitical Ability – 75 Questions 2) Section-B: Mathematical Ability – 75 Questions 3) Section-C: Communication Ability – 50 Questions

Qualification Criteria of ICET • In case of General and OBC candidates, those who have obtained greater than 25% marks are considered to be qualified. • in case of SC/ST candidates no such minimum marks exist.
