    Exam Details - GITAM Admission Test (GAT) for Under Graduate Engineering and Pharmacy Courses


    GAT - UGTP is an all-India Online Engineering and Pharmacy Entrance examination conducted to filter students for the admission into the Under Graduate technical Courses in GITAM College Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad.

    Gitam Admission Test (GAT)- UGTP Exam is conducted by Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission of students into Under Graduate Technical Programmes offered by them. GITAM is one of the top 50 Engineering collages of India. It is an Online examination conducted all over India.

    GITAM offeres 4year B.Tech courses in the following fields :

    GITAM strictly requires the candidate to obtain a minimum of 60% in their Intermediate exams or equivalent in either MPC or BiPC or MBiPC Streams.

    Exam Pattern of GAT-UGTP


    GAT-UGTP paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question is of 3 marks.NEGETIVE Marking is there. The questions are divided into three sections
    • Mathematics / Biology – 40 Questions
    • Physics – 30 Questions
    • Chemistry – 30 Questions

    Syllabus for GAT-UGTP


    The GAT exam syllabus is the syllabus of both the years of Intermediate. It is nearly the same as that of EAMCET. In this test MPC should read Maths, Physics and Chemistry whereas BiPC students should read Biology, Physics and Chemistry. MBiPC students can choose between Mathematics and Biology but it is better to choose Mathematics as the opportunities are higher.
