    Exam Details - GITAM Admission Test (GAT) For Post Graduate Management Courses


    GAT - PGM is an all-India Online Management Entrance Examination for the admissions into the Post Graduate Management Courses offered by GITAM College Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad and a couple of foreign Universities.     Gitam Admission Test (GAT)- PGM Exam is conducted by Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM) for admission of students into Post Graduate Management Programmes offered by them. GITAM is one of the top 50 Engineering collages of India. GAT is an Online examination conducted all over India.

    Courses offered through GAT-PGM are -
    - MBA - A 2 year Course in GITAM
    - MBA - A 2year Course in Central Michigan University, USA
    - MSc (Management) - A 1 year Course in University of Glasgow
    - MHRM (Master of Human Resource Management) - A 2 year Course in GITAM
    - PGADRIM (PG Advanced Diploma in Risk & Insurance Management)- A 1 year Course in GITAM.

    Eligibility Criteria of GAT-PGM


    The candidates applying for the GAT-PGM to get admission into Post Graduate Management courses in GITAM should have got any Bachelor Degree with a minimum of 50 percent or equivalent grade. He should not have failed in any of the subjects. For courses in other universities there are separate guidelines. Additionally he should have obtained a good GAT Score.

    Exam Pattern of GAT-PGM


    GAT-PGM paper consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. Each question is of 3 marks. NEGETIVE Marking is there.The questions are divided into four sections
    Quantitative Ability – 25 Questions
    Analytical Ability – 25 Questions
    Verbal Ability – 25 Questions
    Business Aptitude (Current Business Affairs) – 25 Questions

    Syllabus for GAT-PGM


    The Syllabus for the GAT-PGM exam can be sectionally divided as follows:
    Quantitative Ability – This cover all the basic mathematics topics like Algebra, Geometry, Sets and Funtions etc.
    Analytical Ability – This section tests the logical reasoning of the candidate. It contains questions demanding Logical or Analytical reasoning.
    Verbal Ability – This Section has questions coming on Sentences, Antonyms Synonyms etc.
    Business Aptitude (Current Business Affairs) - This covers the current Business Affairs of India and also the world.
