IIT hunger strike

Whats all this hype abt Hunger strike by professors at IIT's .As a student of IIT i guess its only fair if i give my view about this topic. A prof who teaches me when I enquired him abt this strike said he doesnt even know about it!!!

as said earlier not all profs even know abt it!! Its nothing but a media hype but due to the recent cuts in funds for profs apparently they are angered and doing the strike
