Warangal Public School, Hunter Road, Hanamkonda

I have studied in this school from 1992 June till 1994 March from Class XI to Class XII. This was the most memorable years of my life since I have come out of high school and was doing inter or PUC but in a school format but I had a college feeling because all of them used to treat us with respect.

I some how made friends quickly and we used to enjoy every bit of our classes. Even the teachers used to treat us with respect and did not scold us any time. I used to feel that I am responsible and the lectures were also quite interesting. I used to enjoy the lab work a lot. Computers was one of my favorite subject because apart from learning we used to play a lot of games and no one in the lab even the instructors used to object us.

We were allowed to go out of the school main gate during intervals which was not for the high school sections but we felt it as a privilege. During break times we used to go out and enjoy hot puffs and cakes apart from tea. Most of the time our entire class of 22 both boys and girls used to go outing and there was a ice cream parlour which we used to fervent.

When it comes to studies we were all competitive and took very serious of it. Our teachers used to guide us a lot and took keen interest of our studies. I used to feel the college life like a school since we had to wear a uniform and the only advantage for us is that there is no need for us to attend the morning Assembly. We used to have slip tests, monthly test and other tests. Our chemistry lecture Ramesh would use to make us laugh by the way he teaches and this is the period I used to enjoy a lot.

It is this school that I had made good friends and even over the years we all are in touch with each other and keep on communicating. After I left the school I have visited few times but have missed the alumni meet which was very fun. We all boys and girls very quite close and used to go around the school building to different classes and used to enjoy. We did some dramas in the school and were appreciated by all.

It was a once in a life time experience and as it is always said time passed by will not come but the memories remain.
