Story of the Katha Telugu Movie

Katha is based on some flashback, tracking of a murder and also it has some twist in it. The story line goes like this Chitra’s character is done by Genelia who is all alone and comes to Araku to work as a school teacher in a kids school. Krishna’s character is played by Arun who is an aspiring director who happens to came to Araku to shoot a for his debut movie and come here with all his team.

Since Chitra has spent a year in a mental hospital, because of which she had an uncomfortable and bad history. She behaves in a different way and acts mad if she is all alone at home and also when things go in a creepy way she is disturbed. In these situations she develops friendship with Krishna and as usual there are few songs on both of them.

One day as she happens to peep through her binoculars she notices clearly a murder and also notices the victim who is a girl and she informs the police through her boyfriend (Krishna). The police comes into picture and the role of Circle Inspector is played by Prakash Raj who is a friendly person in the story and tries to resolve the issue and visits the spot of the murder and they could not find any evidence and as they understand Chitra they do not believe her words and with this she remains in a state of trauma with all these thoughts hunting her. She even comes to a stage where she believes that she is catching up the same mental condition she had in the past.

The rest of the story revolves and has twists in it and the whole story is all about whether what she has seen is a fiction or real.

Katha Movie Artists

Genelia has given her best in the movie doing this kind of role because she otherwise does all girls next door roles. She has justified the role.

Arun has done his best but needs some improvements in his body language otherwise its very good.

Prakash Raj as usual was in his best.
