    Srikrishna Committee extended deadline to receive responses

    The sriKrishna Committee decided to extended the deadline for Telangana issue to receive responses


    The SriKrishna Committee for gathering of views and opinions for a separate statehood of Telangana has been extended till April 10 from the previous deadline of March 31 so as to facilitate the participation of all from the state.

    The SriKrishna Committee has met on 18th March in Delhi for a 3rd time from the time it was formed. The SriKrishna Committee has decided to reach Andhra Pradesh State during the first week of April. The SriKrishan Committee consists of 5 members and the main agenda of the committee for meeting on 18 March was to assess the steps taken by the committee and also from different sources and to separate the information received from different sources.

    The SriKrishna Committee has confirmed that it had received various representations from different political parties, Organizations, Social organizations, NGOs and the common man of the state. There were different issues mentioned in the responses such as historic siginifcance, social and political issues, economic, development activities and many other are considered by the committee to prepare the report.

    Telengana Deadline Extended


    The SriKrishna Committee has extended the deadline from 18th March to 10th April to receive representations from various sources regarding the Telangana issue

    The CPI(M) leader Narayana has informed the media that the party has come up with the census and recomedations for the Telangana issue and that he is going to Delhi to submit the recomendations of the CPI(M) party in favour of Telangana.

    Addressing the media Narayana has said that they are standing for seperate state of telangana right from teh begining and a sign of their commitment they are submitting the recomendations to the SriKrishna Committee
