    Tensions in Hyderabad – Government keen on putting down violence

    As tension prevailed in parts of Hyderabad looking at the situation in old city of Hyderabad and specially the curfew imposed areas, the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister K Rosaiah in Hyderabad assured the people of the state and particularly Hyderabad that very soon peace and communal harmony will be restored in the city. The Chief Minister also said the government is taking adequate measures to put down violence of any sort firmly.

    The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister along with his ministers and different officials met at Secretariat in Hyderabad to review about the law and order situation in old city of Hyderabad. He informed that to a greater extent the situation is at hand and under control and the people of these areas want peace and communal harmony.

    Note this the CM also said that there are some mischievous elements behind this who wanted to create problems and terror to see that peace and harmony is not maintained.

    He said that the agencies involved in investigating the issue are trying to identify them creating problems and have to arrest them. He gave strict orders to police that they should act firmly to see that no trouble makers and mischief mongers are spared from the law.

    The state Chief Minister has informed that already around 183 people have been arrested believed to be involved in the problem. He also said that there will be more arrests and more will be nabbed very soon.

    It is said that Mr Rosaiah has asked the police department to be vigilant and constantly monitor the old city areas of Hyderabad and stop any untoward incident in future and to restore peace and harmony.
