30 March 2010 – Sania Mirza makes it official by announcing her marriage with Shoaib Malik and affirms that she will play for India

31 March 2010 – Hearing this AyeshaSiddique (Shoaib Malik wife as claimed) father Mohammed Ahmed Siddiqui threatens Shoaib Malik with legal action.

1 April 2010 - Mohammed Ahmed Siddiqui says that Sania Mirza will be Shoaib Malik's second wife.

2 April 2010 – The Siddiqui's family releases marriage certificate having Shoaib Maliiks's name in it.

3 April 2010 – Shoiab come out before media and says that "He was cheated and he never met Ayesha Siddiqui.

4 April 2010 – Fir filed against Shoaib Malik by Ayesha's father. In the FIR it is mentioned that Shoaib Malik is charged with cruelty, cheating. At the later time in the day Ayesha says she and Shoaib Malik had an intimate relationship and also suffered a miscarriage

5 April 2010 – Hyderabad police interrogates Shoaib Malik for 90 minutes at Sania Mirza residence in Banjara Hills and also seize Shoaib Malik's passport and mobile phone. In the later time both Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik jointly address a press meet and Shoaib Malik claims to clear his name.

6 April 2010 - In another twist to the drama Ayesha Siddique hands over wedding night clothes to the cops which is said to contain Shoaib Malik's semen stains. Later the clothes were sent to forensic lab for tests.

7 April 2010 – Finally for a happy ending Shoaib Malik accepts Ayesha Siddique as first wife and divorces her making way for the love story of Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik prevail and the way is cleared for marriage with Sania Mirza
