Nation remembers Rajiv Gandhi on his 19th death anniversary...

President Pratibha Devisingh Patil, Vice President Hamid Ansari, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi today paid tributes to former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi on his 19th death anniversary.

Floral tributes were paid to the slain leader at his memorial 'Veer Bhumi', which was decorated with hundreds of white lotuses on the occasion.

AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Vadra along with her husband Robert Vadra were also present at the remembrance ceremony.
