Bhavani Islands is located at the one end of Krishna River. It is close to prakasam Barrage. One can reach Bhavani Islands by boat facility only. It occupies nearly 130 acres of land and is being well developed by the APTDC. We can see these Bhavani Islands from the hills known as Indrakiladri where there is a famous temple of Goddess Sri kanka Durga.Bhavani Islands can be considered as a best picnic spots in Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) is incharge of the Bhavani Islands. It is running under the Government. It offers all different types of services in the island. The food provided in the Islands is good and all variety of food items is available along with spicy dishes. The children really enjoy this place the most. They can play here different games. These games are available for all the different age groups.

Attractions of Bhavani Islands

The swimming pools are also constructed and are well maintained with good water by AP tourism .We can find a large number of trees and plants and they are maintaining gardens also these days. Bhavani Islands is one of the best tourist spot in Krishna District of Andhra Pradesh where all the facilities will be available and can enjoy the nature along with Boat rides in Bhavani Islands. Boat rides are really very enthusiastic and attract the tourists the most. People who wish to relax can have a walk in the islands gardens and enjoy the environment.

Timings of Bhavani islands

There are hotel and lodging facilities also available in the island. One can stay there for how many days they wish. But they must book the rooms in prior atleast 12 to 48 hours before and pay the advance to the AP tourism. Bhavani Islands is always available to the tourists. But the only disadvantage is there will be no boat services during the night time. They will be available from 8-00 AM to 9-00 PM.

However, this is one of the best places where I have visited with my friends and enjoyed a lot.
