Andhra Pradesh Minority College Admissions 2010| Admissions for Minorities 2010|

Consortium of A.P. Minority Educational Institutions (SW-II) will be conducting Admission into minority engineering and pharmacy colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

Dates: July 27 to August 12,2010

Venues:
1) Veterinary Officers Association Building, Shantinagar, near Masab Tank, Hyderabad
2) Nimra College of Engineering, Vijayawada
3) AQJ College of Engineering and Technology –Vishakapatnam
4) Madeena College of Engineering – Kadapa

Around 16,000-odd seats in 75 engineering and pharmacy colleges are available for all the Muslim, Christian and Sikh minority students and some more are likely to be added before the counselling.

Community wise Availability:

For Muslim Candidates – 8500 seats available - 17,400 qualified in the EAMCET
For Christian Candidates - 7000 seats available – only about 2500 odd qualified in EAMCET.
For Sikh Candidates - 500 seats available - 200 students qualified in EAMCET.

Seats that cannot be filled in the respective categories would be offered to the students from the same community on the basis of their Intermediate marks. Seats still left over would be offered under open pool where in students from all categories can apply.

Note: This counselling will also offer seats under the fee waiver scheme . Although sliding from Single Window-I (Government's Convenor) will be allowed, the students need to get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Convenor.
