    Number of Students appeared for EAMCET 2010 -- 3.5 Lakhs

    Results and marks for the Engineering Agriculture and Medicine Common Entrance Test (EAMCET) 2010 were declared by JNT University on -- Wednesday, Jun 16 2010

    DN Reddy, Vice-Chancellor of JNTU-H informed at a press conference held on Saturday 26 June, 2010 that "Second shift in engineering colleges will not be permitted. A system for grading engineering colleges in the State will be introduced after the completion of admissions" And he added, "Action will be taken against engineering colleges that go against the rules in filling management quota seats."

    In the state, addition of 15000 seats are being expected with the coming of around 25 new engineering colleges from this year.
