Pesarattu is a special dish of andhra people.

    Andhra recipe Andhra Pesarattu

It is a famous dish in Andhra Pradesh. Especially this is very famous dish for East and West Godavari Districts. Normally whoever comes to these places, will not go without tasting this food.

    Ingredients :

    Moongdal - 1/4 kg.
    Methi seeds - 10
    Ginger - 1 small piece
    Coariander leaves - 1 bunch
    Jeera - 1 tsp
    Salt - 1 tsp
    Green Mirchi - 15 (small)

Soak moongdal and methi seeds in water for 3 hours. Drain the water and grind moongdal, methi seeds, green mirchi and ginger. Only 2 to 3 minutes grinding is enough. The mixture should not be too soft. Take the paste into a bowl. Add jeera, salt. Cut the coriander leaves into small pieces. Add the same to the paste.

Now cut the onions into small pieces. Keep it aside.

Now put non-stick tawa on the stove. Put on the stove. Wait for 1 minute, then pur the mixture on the tawa, and put cut pieces of onions on the same. Put little oil, keep the same for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn it to other side. Just keep it for 1 minute. Then the hot hot pesarattu is ready. Keep the same in a plate and serve it hot with coconut chutney and upma. Upma is a combination for pesarattu.

If you taste it you cannot forget it.

It is a very tasty food.
