More e-seva centres to accept passport applications now

23 new e seva centres in Hyderabad will accept passport applications.

Passports can be had easily now

The online registration system for applying for passports has been modified. Instead of two different registrations (tatkaal and ordinary), now there is only one system for online registration.

No date or time stamp will appear on the application form.

Applicants may submit applications within 30 days of online registration either at the Passport Office between 10 a.m and 12 noon or at any designated e-Seva centres between 8 am and 8 p.m.

A maximum of 300 tatkaal and 100 ordinary applications a day will be accepted at the Passport Office on a first-cum-first-served basis.

Besides the 17 e-seva centres accepting passport applications (both handwritten and online) now, 23 more will be doing so from the first week of August.

Hello Mohan,

Thanks for sharing the news, I think all of them are in Hyderabad only. If you have any idea about the list of newly opened passport centers please provide them as it will serve better for the visitors.
