Taapsi Pannu is one of the new-coming heroines in Tollywood. She was the heroine in Jhummandi Nadam against Manoj and in the direction of the great Raghavendra Rao. She has signed up further movies with Prabhas and Ravi Teja.

She participated in the Pantaloons Femina Miss India 2008, which is a women's beauty contest collectively conducted by Femina magazine and Pantaloons.

On 5th April, 2008 she achieved the subtitles of "Pantaloons Fresh Face of the Year" and "Safi Femina Miss Beautiful Skin of the Year".

Career as an Actor

She was signed up for many ads of various reputed companies like Safi, Coca cola, Dabur, Vardhaman Jewelery, Motorola and RED FM.

Seeing her acting talent in the ads Raghavendra Rao, famous director of Tollywood signed her in his movie 'Jhummandi Nadam'. Although the movie did not do much wonders in the box office, Taapsi definitely got well deserved appreciation for her action in the movie. Thus Taapsi started getting many other offers in the Tollywood. Some Comfirmed offers are one with Prabhas and one with Ravi Teja.
