    This article gives you the detailed exam pattern of EAMCET.EAMCET is the gateway for all the students in Andhra Pradesh for getting admissions into BE/ B.Tech courses in various collages in Andhra Pradesh.

    EAMCET-Engineering Exam Pattern



    EAMCET exam is considered to be the toughest exam in Andhra Pradesh as it requires both knowledge as well as speed. The EAMCET paper consists of 3 sections :

    1) Mathematics (A and B)
    2) Physics
    3) Chemistry

    A total of 160 Questions will be given. 80 Questions from Mathematics, 40 from Physics and 40 from Chemistry. Each question is of 1 mark.

    Key points in EAMCET Paper

    • No sectional cut-offs are there. Even if you are weak in one section you can cover up with the rest of the sections as there is no individual cut-offs of the sections.

    • Questions are Multi-Choice type with 4 options given for each question. Only One option is right. Till date EAMCET has never given multiple-correct answer questions.

    • The questions can be direct, match-the-following, assertion-reason, choose the correct statement etc.

    •There is No Negative marking in the exam.

    • Above 30% of the questions are repeated from previous year papers and Objective question banks. So go through them thoroughly.

    •The paper should be answered on an electronically readable OMR Sheet given at the exam centre.
