Eligibility Criteria of GAT-UGTP

Candidates appearing for GAT -2011(UGTP) for the admissions into Engineering and Pharmacy courses in GITAM should satisfy the following eligibility criteria.

1) The candidate should have successfully passed the Intermediate Final Year Examination or equivalent from and Central or State recognized Boards in 2011 or 2010.

2) Candidates appearing/awaiting results for their 12th exam on the same year may also apply for the GAT exam.

3) The candidate should acquire the following minimum percentages :

• Candidates applying for all B.Tech. Programs (except Bio-Technology) should have studied their 12th standard in MPC stream only. They should have acquired a minimum of 60% as an aggregate of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and should have a first Class or Equivalent including all the subjects.

• Candidates applying for all B.Tech. in Bio-Technology should have studied their 12th standard in either MPC, BiPC or MBiPC streams only. They should have acquired a minimum of 60% as an aggregate of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology whichever are applicable and should have a first Class or Equivalent including all the subjects.

• Candidates applying for all B.Pharmacy Courses should have studied their 12th standard in either MPC, BiPC or MBiPC streams only. They should have acquired a minimum of 60% as an aggregate of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology whichever are applicable and should have a first Class or Equivalent including all the subjects.
