Exam Pattern of GITAM Admission Test – Under-Graduate Management Courses

GITAM Admission Test for Post-Graduate courses is a 2hour examination. It will have 100 multiple choice questions in total split-up into four sections:

• Quantitative Ability – 25Questions – 75 Marks
This Section will be testing candidates quantitative skills and thus will include questions from Arithematics, geometry, Algebra, Statistics, Probability, Sets, Functions and all other basic mathematic topics.

• Analytical Ability – 25 Questions – 75Marks
This Section will be testing the reasoning and IQ of the candidate and thus will consist of questions containing analytics, logical and numerical reasoning etc.

• Verbal Ability – 25 Questions – 75 Marks
This Section will be testing the Verbal abilities of the candidate and thus will include questions about words, sentences, grammar, comprehensions, antonyms and synonyms etc.

• Business Aptitude (Current Business Affairs)– 25 Questions – 75 Marks
This Section will test the General Knowledge of the candidate over Business and thus includes topics like Business current affairs, geography, civics, economics etc.

Few more points to be considered :

• Each question is a multiple-choice question. It is followed for four options. Only one of the options is right.

• With each correct question you will get 3 marks. With each wrong question you will lose 1 mark. Negetive Marking is There. Un-attempted questions will be given zero marks.
