Degree Lecturers Recruitment - Educational Qualifications 1) The candidate should hold a Masters Degree in the Subject of Teaching he/she is applying for. 2) He/she should have acquired a minimum of 55% marks (50% for SC/SC/PH candidates) or an equivalent grade in his/her Masters Degree. 3) If the candidate possesses a PhD in the respective Subject and has completed his/her Master on or before 19th September, 1991, he/she will be given a relaxation of 5%. 4) The candidate should have passed National Eligibility Test(NET)or SLET for lecturers. These exams are allowed only when conducted by UGC, CSIR or APPSC. 5) Candidates who have acquired their PhD degree with compliance of the University Grants Commission will be exempted from the previous rule of passing NET/SLET.
Degree Lecturers Recruitment - Age Limit As on 1st July,2009, the candidates should not be of an age range of 18-39years. The relaxations in the age limit are as follows: a) Temporary employees of State Census Department will get a age limit relaxation for 3years provided they have a minimum service of 6months. b) Employees of Andhra Pradesh State Government (excluding APSEB,APSRTC,Municipalities etc.) will get an Age Limit relaxation of 5 years. c) Ex-servicemen will get an age Limit relaxation of 3years. d) National Credit Corps Instructors will be given an Age Limit relaxation of 3years. e) SC/ST/BC category candidates will get an Age Limit Relaxation of 5years. f) Physically Handicapped people will get an Age Limit relaxation of 10years.
Degree Lecturers Recruitment - Exam Fee Particulars Examination Fee – Rs120 Application Processing Fee – Rs25 The Exam Fee is exempted for Reserved Categories but the Application Processing Fee should be paid by all the candidates.
Degree Lecturers Jobs Payment and Application Procedure The candidates should follow the procedure given below for the payment 1) Logon to APPSC challan site. Fill in all the required details and click on preview. This will take you to a another page for confirmation. Check all the details and if everything is right then click on Submit. 2) Immediately a challan form will be generated and you will be prompted to download it. Take the print out of the challan form and fill the required details and put your signature on it. 3) Take the challan form to your nearest AP Online centre or State Bank of India Branch and pay the Fee. You will be given your copy of challan with the journal details filled in. 4) The candidate should affix a his/her recent photograph on a white paper and sigh below it. Then the paper should be scanned and the candidate should obtain a soft copy picture containing both his photograph and Signature.Make sure that the picture file should be in .jpg format and should not exceed 50kb in size. 5) The candidate should logon to APPSC Application Form site and enter his/her journal details and upload the picture file obtained in the previous steps. 6) Then the candidate will be taken to an Application form. The candidate should fill in all the details required and submit.
Degree Lecturers Recruitment - Selection Criteria The selection criteria of AP Degree Lecturers Recruitment includes a two-stage process: 1) An Objective written Exam – Candidates have to qualify this test in order to go to the Interview. The minimum qualification percentage for the AP Degree Lectrers Recruitment Objective Exam is 40% (35% for SC/ST , 30% for PH ). 2) A Personal Interview – The personal Interview will be conducted after a detailed certificate verification. Thus all the candidates who qualify the written exam should produce their certificates during the Interview.
