Jai Bolo Telangana, the story of the Telangana Struggle, is being picturised in the Osmania University premises of Hyderabad recently. The hero of the movie is Jagapathi Babu. The film producer said that he asked many major heroes of Tollywood to do this role but none came forward due to the Telangana controversy behind it. But Jagapathi Babu took it as a challenge and accepted the role in the film.

Jagapathi Babu is of SeemaAndhra origin and thus accepting a role in Jai Bolo Telangana movie shows that Jagapathi Babu does not have any regional feeling and only accepts a role if it interests him and suits him. He is doing a role of a Telangana leader who sacrificed his life for the welfare of Telangana people.

The most interesting fact is that the Telangana protesters, who have been complaining a lot about snatching their jobs, have themselves presented a major role in this film to a SeemaAndhra actor. Mean while the Samaikyandhra protesters and students are completely opposing this and they also state that they would boycott all the further films of Jagapathi Babu.

According to the producer Jai Bolo Telangana Shooting will be completed by 25th November, 2010. The release date of Jai Bolo Telangana is scheduled to be 20th December, 2010.
