Ways to pay credit card bill of other banks using ICICI site

Paying Credit card bills of other banks using ICICI Internet banking - Account to Card Transfer and NEFT Transactions. Payment of Credit Card Bills through ICICI Online banking is easy.

Here are a few steps to pay the credit card bill using ICICI internet banking, as of now I am giving the details for paying credit card bill dues for the banks HSBC, SBI and HDFC, rest other banks I will post it later on or anyone here have idea please post here so that this thread will be more useful for every banker.

Steps to be followed in paying Credit Card Bills of other banks

First Method using Account to Card Transfer

1. Login to Internet Banking using username and password (if you don't have password for your account call ICICI customer care on 9849578000 / 23128000)

2. Click on Account to Card Transfer - Register your card and pay the bills

Second Method using NEFT Transfers

1. Login to account
2. Click on Funds Transfer - Select "Non ICICI Bank Account across India" and click on continue button
3. Under Register Payee click on Add Payee button A new page will be displayed with below options

Payee Name (As per Payee's Bank record)
Payee NickName
Account Type SAVING ACCOUNT (10) Let it be as Saving Account
IFSC Code HSBC0400002 Enter for HSBC bank Credit Cards
HDFC0000128 Enter for HDFC bank Credit Cards

3. Click on Next button, Enter the 16 digit Card number and click on Confirm button

4. If your mobile is registered with ICICI then you get an confirmation sms which you need to enter in Confirm Payee section for accepting the registration

5. Finally make the payment

Advantages of NEFT on Account to Card Transfer

1. For every transaction you made on Account to Card Transfer is charged with 20 rupees, where as it is free for NEFT transfers (atleast for salaried account and not sure about others)
2. It takes 1 day for transferring the money to beneficiary account
