Need of Saving Energy- A Go-Green initiative

There is a need of saving and conserving energy at an individual level to prevent global warming. this initiative is called as Go-Green initiative.

'Energy' we talk about here can be
* Water
Use Water preciously, don't waste it. As we know that ground water levels are dropping down day by day, there is need to conserve water. Ground water level can be increased by following Rain Water Harvesting mechanism, Recycling of water - Many corporates are doing this. they use the recycle water for cleaning, plantation and landscaping.

* Electricity
Don't waste electricity. though we can afford huge electricity bills, we need to minimise the electricity wastage. because, energy saved is energy generated!!!. by following various tips and techniques we can save electricity. this can have two advantages: 1) As Usage is minimised there wont be any scarcity in our state. 2) at an individual we can cutdown our electricity bills.

* Fuel
Fuel is the important one among the above two, because saving fuel not only saves the resuorce but also reduces pollution. Many companies are encouraging car/bike pooling practices among their employees to reduce pollution and save fuel. We can use public transport whereever possible to save fuel and reduce pollution.

Another important thing is Usage of Polythene bags. Please avoid usage of them as it would take lakhs of years to get them perished. Carry paper bags or jute bags whenever u go out for shopping. Minimise usage of plastic to control global warming.

When we see at an individual level it may look like a small effort and adds nothing, but if u see it at nation wide or global level the effect would be more and can contribute a lot in saving our planet from global warming.
