    Pudina Rice dish Procedure and Ingredients

    Pudina Rice is one of the best food items in the South Indian dishes.


    Pudina Rice acts as a delicious food item for the Vegetarians as well as for the envy lovers.

    Pudina leaves are having many herbal values and this Pudina rice contains less cholesterol.

    Pudina Rice Ingredients:

    Rice – 3 cups
    Pudina Leaves – 3 cups
    Green Chilies – 4
    Onions – 1
    Salt – Required Quantity
    Red Chilli Powder – Required quantity depends on taste
    Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 spoon
    Lemon – 1
    Cloves (Lavangalu) – 4
    Cinnamon (Dhalchini Chekka) – Small piece
    Biryani Leaves – 2
    Ghee – ¼ cup
    Cashews – less than ¼ cup


    Pudina Rice Preparation

    First clean the rice thoroughly and cook the rice. After the rice is ready, take a plate and place this rice into that plate and let it loose its warmness. Now add salt to the rice and keep it aside.

    Now take the Pudina leaves and green chillies and place those in a mixer jar and grind them into the form of a paste.

    Next, take a pan and place it on a stove. Add the ghee into this pan and let it melt. Now add Cashews into this ghee and fry them until they change to brownish color. Next, add Biryani leaves, cinnamon, cloves and chopped onion into the pan and fry them. Next add chili powder, ginger garlic paste to the pudina leaves and chilies paste and mix it thoroughly and add it into the pan and let it get mixed and cooked well.

    Let this process get continued for 5 minutes and after 5 minutes, add the rice that is kept in the plate into this pan and keep in the stove in a slim heat condition and mix this mixture thoroughly.

    After the rice get heated, add lemon juice to this mixture and switch off the stove.

    That's it, delicious and tasty Pudina rice is ready. You can serve this Pudina rice with Sambar or with any Vegetables Kurma. This rice becomes too tasty.
