In Thirumala TTD has built free dormitories around the temple in addition to the cottages and guest house which are rented or leased out to the devotees. Free bus Service is also available to travel between Thirumala and Tirupati as well as for travelling in and around Thirumala. vegetarian Meals are provided to pilgrims free of cost at the Venkateswara Canteen complex daily from 10 am to 11 pm. A free meal coupon will be distributed inside the temple after worshipping the Lord for all the devotees.
Anna Prasadams like Pulihora, Curd rice, Chitrannam and sweet pongal are distributed free of cost to the pilgrims coming out after the dharshan.

Advance Reservation for the accommodation facilities at Thirumala

There is an advance reservation chart displayed at the notice board outside the ARC ( Advance Reservation Counter ) in the Central Reception office at Thirumala. The chart contains the names of the devotees who have been allotted accommodation. If you are in any doubt contact the 'May I help you' counters there at Thirumala.
Usually a confirmation letter will be sent to the devotees if your booking has been done at the center. If the devotees have not received any confirmation letter or an acknowledgement from the AEO ( RO - 1)TTD, Thirumala, they can call 77681 betwen 11 am to 5 pm on all working days and 70928 at any time and get information by giving DD / MO particulars.
There is a special and exclusive monitor kept in the Advance Reservation Allotment Counter and the main computer cell at CRO, TTD to provide in formation on advance reservation all through the day and night.

Points to Note :
The term 'A day' is used to mean 24 hours from the time of allotment.
Alternative accommodation will be provided if the required accommodation is not available. In such cases, the excess service charges paid, if any, will be refunded.
Accommodation will be reserved for a day that is for 24 hours only. If the persons do not check in on that particular day, the reservation will be cancelled. The reservation charges paid will not be refunded and will be considered forfeited. The amount cannot be adjusted anywhere else.

For the Free Accommodation at the Choultries / Dormitories at TTD Complex
There are several large choultries with free rooms are available for families to stay in reasonable comfort. Electricity and water are provided free of charge.
For this type of free accommodation, pilgrims may contact the Central Reception Office, near the bus stand in Tirumala.
Pilgrims can also rest in the Dormitory Halls provided by TTD. They have also provided Public Amenities Complexes at both Tirupati and Tirumala, which provide dormitory-type accommodation with lockers, free of cost. Those who do not wish to pay or cannot pay can use these and rest in the dormitories provided free of cost.
