Eligibility Criteria for High Court Judge Posts by Direct Recruitment

1) Candidates should not be older than 35 years as on 1st February,2011
2) Candidate should have a degree in law from any recognized college.
3) Candidates should secure 35%(BC),30%(SC/ST) in the written test conducted for the recruitment.

Eligibility Criteria for High Court Judge Posts by Transfer Recruitment

1) Candidates should not be older than 48 years as on 1st February,2011.
2) Candidate must have worked for the court in one of the roles specifies in the Notification.
3) Candidate should have a degree in law from any recognized college.
4) Candidates should secure 40%(general),35%(BC),30%(SC/ST) in the written test conducted for the recruitment.

AP High Court judge Recruitment 2011 Selection Process

1) A written examination will be conducted for 80 marks
• The exam should be answered in English.
• The Question paper will be set by the High Court.
2) A Viva Voce for 20 marks.
The marks obtained in this combination will be considered for the final selection.

AP High Court judge Recruitment 2011 Application Process

1) Download the Prescribed Application Form given in the website.
2) Fill the Application Form completely.
3) Take a Demand Draft of Rs.100 in the favour of Registrar (Recruitment), High Court of Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad payable at Hyderabad.(Payment exempted for SC/ST)
4) The filled in Application Form along with the Demand Draft should be submitted to your Principal District Judges in the working hours.

Last Date for Receipt of AP High Court Applications: 5pm of 1st March, 2011
