ICET-2011 NOTIFICATION

Integrated Common Entrance Test for Admission into MBA and MCA Courses of all Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their Affiliated Colleges.

Application are invited for appearing at the integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET-2011) for admission into MBA and MCA Courses (full time/part-time/evening/distance mode) offered by the following Universities in Andhra Pradesh including their affiated colleges for the academic year 2011-2012 to be conducted by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam.

ELIGIBILITY:

1)The Candidate should be Indian Nationals and Should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as amended upto date.

2)The Candidates Seeking Admission

i)For MBA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree Examination of minimum three years duration.

ii)For MCA: Should have passed recognized Bachelors Degree examination of minimum three years duration with MATHEMATICS at 10+2 Level

3)As per the latest AICTE Approval Process Handbook 2011-2012, eligibility criteria for admission into MBA courses is revised stipulating 50% (45% for reserved categories) of marks at the qualifying examination. Candidates shall fulfill the eligibility criteria laid down in relevant GOs at the the time of admissions.

4)The Candidate who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET-2011.

5)Qualification markes in ICET-2011 is 25% and no minimum marks are prescribed for SC/ST Candidates.

•Without Late Fee: 24-03-2011 Upto 5.00 PM

•With Late fee of Rs. 500/- through DD Drawn in favour of "The Secretary, APSCHE" payable at Hyderabad: 13-04-2011 Upto 5.00 PM

•With a Late fee of Rs. 2000/- through DD drawn in favour of "The Secretary, APSCHE" payable at Hyderabad: 13-04-2011 Upto 5.00 PM

DATE OF ICET: 18.05.2011 (Wednesday) Time: 10.00AM to 12.30PM)

Sale of Application Forms:

Prescribed application form for the entrance test together with instructions booklet can be obtained in person on payment of Rs. 250/- in cash at (1) e-seva Centre in Andhra Pradesh. (2) Head Post Offices in Andhra Pradesh., Post Offices located on the Univesity Capuses (3) Main Branches of Andhra Bank Outlets in Andhra Pradesh.

Submission of Application forms:

Filled-in Applications forms should be submitted along with revelant documents to The Convener, ICET-2011

Applications also can be submitted ONLINE, However, a copy of the downloaded application, a passport size photograph and DD for Rs. 250/- drawn in favor of "The Secretary, APSCHE, payable at Hyderabad should submitted to "the Convener, ICET-2011.
