ECET [FDH & B.Sc. (MATHEMATICS)] – 2011 NOTIFICATION
Engineering Common Entrance Test for Diploma Holders & B.Sc Graduates with Mathematics.
Applications are invited from Diploma Holders in various branches of Engineering namely, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical (Including Automobile, Packaging Technology. Printing Technology & Foot Wear Technology) / Computer Engineering (Including Special Diploma in TV and Sound Technology) Diploma in Bio-Medical Engineering (including Special Diploma)/ Mining/Chemical (including Sugar Technology/Ceramic Technology/Textile Technology/Leather Technology)/ Metallurgy/Electronics and Instrumentation (including Special Diploma)/ Bio-Technology/Pharmacy and B.Sc., Gradates with Mathematics for the Common Entrance Test:
1.For Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.E./B.Tech. Courses in All Inida Council for Technical Education approved Unaided Private Professional Institutions.
2.For Admission through Common Entrance Test into 1st year regular B.E/B.Tech Courses in University Engineering Colleges for the seats specifically earmarked for Diploma holders.
3.For Lateral admission through Common Entrance Test into 2nd year regular B.Pharmacy Courses in both University and Private Un-Aided professional Institutions approved by Pharmacy Council of India.
For the academic year 2011-2012 to be conducted by the UNTU, Hyderabad on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education.
As per the latest AICTE Approval Process Hand book – 2011-2012, eligibility criteria is revised as under for admission. "Candidates who obtained 50% (45% for reserved categories) of marks at the qualifying examination for both (i) Diploma Holders and (ii) B.Sc Pass outs (Passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject) are eligible.
The Prescribed application form along with instruction booklet containing information regarding eligibility criteria, syllabi etc., for the ECET-2011 can be obtained in person on payment of Rs. 300/- from the designated Main Post Offices and Andhra Bank Branches.
The filled in Application form with necessary enclosures can be submitted to the CONVENER, ECET[FDH & B.Sc (Maths)] – 2011

in Person or by Registered Post/Speed Post so as to reach him
on or before 08.04.2011, 5.00pm without late fee.

Last Date for receipt of filled in application forms without late fee: 08.04.2011, 5PM
Last Date for sale and receipt of application with late fee Rs. 500/- : 18.04.2011, 5PM
Last Date for sale and receipt of application with late fee Rs. 1,000/- : 27.04.2011, 5PM
Last Date for sale and receipt of application with late fee Rs. 5,000/-: 09.05.2011, 5PM

20.05.2011 (Friday) 10.00 am to 01.00pm
