    Palakura Pachadi (Spinach Chutney)

    Palakura Pachadi (Spinach Chutney) is very tasty dish especially in summer


    In summer every one will not feel like eating anything. Everyone like to eat pickles. But instead of pickles if we try chutney that is good for health. In chutneys too if we use leafy vegetables it is excellent.

    Palakura Pachadi (Spinach Chutney) Ingredients.

    Fresh Palak leaves - one big bowl.
    Oil - 2tsp
    Green chillies - 8 nos.
    red chillies - 10 nos.
    Minapappu (urad dal) - 2 tsp
    Dhaniya - 2 tsp
    Jeera - 2 tsp
    Tamarind - little (small lemon size)
    Garlic - 1
    Onion - 1 (big size)
    Turmeric powder - little
    salt - to taste

    Palakura Pachadi (Spinach Chutney) Preparation

    First clean the palak leaves. Wash 4 to 5 times. Now cut it into small pieces. Keep it aside.

    Now take on kadai. Put the oil. When the oil becomes warm put garlic. Once the garlic colour changes, pur minapappu, red chillies, green chillies, jeera and wait for 1 minutes.

    Now put all the palak, which was cut into small pieces. Put little turmeric powder, salt and allow it to cook for 5 minutes.

    When the palak is cooked, remove it from flame, and keep it in a bowl. Allow it to cool. Once it is cool, put all that in a grinder and make it into a paste. Chutney is ready now.

    Now, take this into a bowl.

    Take the onion and cut into small pieces. Now, mix these onion pieces in the chutney (pachhadi).

    Serve this pachhadi with hot rice.

    It is a very tasty dish.

    Palak is very good in iron.
    Garlic is very good in reducing cholestrol. Good for B.P. patients.
