Gudivada - Highest Majority was in Gudivada where Kodali Venkateswara Rao popularly known as Kodali Nani of TDP defeated his nearest rival Pinnamaneni Venkateswara Rao of the Congress party by 17630.Nani got 68034 votes where as Pinnamaneni got 50404 votes.

Gannavaram - Second Highest majority was in Gannavaram where Dasari Venkata Balavardhanarao of TDP defeated his nearest rival Muddaraboina Venkateswararao of the congress party by 15295,Dasari Balavardhanarao got 82218 where as Venkateswararao got 66923 votes.
Till the end of the announcement of the issuing of party ticket for Gannavaram there was suspense as Jr NTR's friend Vamsi was trying for the party ticket.

Victory with less 500 votes - Avanigadda,, Tiruvuru, Vijayawada East and Penamaluru were the assembly segments where the winners got thru very slight margin(less then 500 votes). Parthasarathy minister from Krishna district won the election with 177 votes. Which was the lowest margin in Krishna district.

Out of 3 reserved consistencies congress won 2 seats, TDP won one seat.

Velampalli Srinivasa Rao first timer and Ravi Yalamanchili son of popular leader Yalamanchili Nageswar Rao were elected from PRP.
