Botsa's Political Life
Botsa is the present PCC president of Andhra Pradesh. Before him D. Srinivas was the president of PCC. He was MP from Bobbili from 1999 to 2004. He worked as the minister of Panchayat Raj ,minister of Marketing and presently he is the minister of Transport.

His wife Botsa Jhansi lakshmi is the member of parliament from Vizianagaram consistency , his brother Botcha Appla Narasaiah is the MLA from Gajapathinagaram Assembly Constituency.

Botsa stand on Telangana
He was not opposed to the formation of Telangana , there by getting support from telangana leaders.

Volkswagen Scam
Volkswagen scam was one case where he was corned by the opposition parties. Due to former CM Rajasekhar Reddy's courage and expertise he was out of the scam. Otherwise it might have become death blow to his political career.
