There are various engineering entrance examinations that allow to join various reputed Engineering colleges and Universities in Andhra Pradesh. These entrance exams range from various levels of difficulty from IIT-JEE to EAMCET. 8.NRI/Management Quota


Joint Entrance exam for joining Indian Institute of Technology, the most reputed engineering universities/colleges in India is the most craziest exam in India. It is passion for many students to score a good rank in IIT-JEE. This exam has higher difficulty level than other exams and it requires a good IQ to par this exam. AIEEE stands for All India Engineering Entrance Exam. The exam consits of two parts. The Paper I is for students aspiring for admission in Engineering and Paper II is for admission in to B.Arch and Planning courses. Top institutes of India like NIT Warangal and IIIT Hyderabad of Andhra Pradesh makes admissions on basis of AIEEE Ranks. There is 50% quota in these institutes for our state students.

Andhra Pradesh EAMCET

EAMCET stands for Engineering and Medical Common Entrance Examination. It is the common exam for entrance of various engineering and medical colleges/universities in Andhra Pradesh. The reservations apply as per Govt. of Andhra Pradesh rules. Almost all the colleges in AndhraPradesh takes students on basis of EAMCET ranks as it is the recognized engineering entrance for joining engineering colleges. Birla Institute of Technology and Science Admission Test is computer written exam that is useful to join the prestigious institutes of BITS campus. BITS PILANI Hyderabad campus takes admissions based on BITSAT. This exam requires the additional knowledge of English and Logical Thinking other than traditional M-P-C subjects.

Gitam University GAT Exam Andhra Pradesh

Gitam University of Vizag and Hyderabad campuses intake students through this test. There is also online version of this test so that students can apply with their date of preference.

Koneru Lakshmaiah KLUEEE Andhra Pradesh

Koneru Lakshmaiah Engineering Entrance Examination is a self financed deemed university that has a good infrastructure and the university takes students on their private entrance exam KLUEEE.

Vignan University VSAT

Vignan University is one of the deemed University located at Guntur, near from Vijayawada. Earlier this institute made admissions through
AIEEE, but now this university has its own exam for admissions ie VSAT. The university also admits top rankers of EAMCET.

Management/NRI Quota

When a student fails to get a seat through Entrance exam by various reasons like falling of eligibility, the alternate way is to join through NRI/Management Quota where the student is joined with additional fee. This is a good oppurtunity for NRI's and students of other states to join reputed colleges in Andhra Pradesh. ICFAI University of Hyderabad takes admissions from NRI's and EAMCET based colleges has 30% quota for management quota.
