Kothapalli Jayashankar the popular leader of Telangana ,popularly known as Prof. Jayashankar and Telangana Siddanthakartha died recently. He was suffering from throat cancer.He argued that unequal distribution of river water was the root cause of telangana movement.

Prof Jayashankar's Death
Prof Jayashankar died on 21-June-11, the vacuum created by his death can not be filled by any of Telangana Leader. He is one of the self less and intellectual leader in the telangana region. He was suffering from throat cancer and died because of the same disease. He is never seen in his emotional talk . However he is seen in his intellectual talk. When sing songs praising Nizam was mandatory in schools he asked his students to sing Vandemataram

Prof Jayashankar 's Political life
He was the political guru and advisor to the popular telangana leader KCR. He actively participated in all the telangana agitations. Unfortunately not even once he was elected to the assembly. He might have become MLA unopposed but so called Telangana parties never gave this opportunity to him.

Unequal distribution of river water was the issue raised by him consistently.
